June, bending over in pain from the excruciating contractions, dropped her glass-filled orange juice. The sound of its fall penetrates their home, shattering on the living room floor. Fears the baby is coming earlier than expected and, to make things worse Danny's father left earlier this morning to pick up a supply shipment.

Therefore June instructed Danny to contact Dr. Baxter, right away, as; she was now in labor. Danny did as his mother asked and contacted Dr. Baxter's office. Next, calling Tom’s Market to confirm his father had picked up their order. Emma, the weekend clerk, suggested Danny call the Bread Basket. Before leaving the market, Dave had informed Emma that he would stop by the restaurant for a quick bite to eat on his way home.

Thankful for the suggestion, Danny reached his father at the Bread Basket, just as Emma implied. Danny was then able to inform his father that his mother was in labor.

Aware that his father would be home soon. Danny could return his focus to assisting his mother back to her bedroom. He directs his mom to lie down on the colorful floral bedspread and overhears from his parent's bedroom window the sound of 'Old Thunder' his father’s vintage pickup.

Announcing to his mother that his father has returned home, he excuses himself and runs down the stairs. Pass the fields to greet his father. Notices Dr. Baxter and his nurse Jessica pulling up not too far behind. “The baby’s coming!” Danny yelled out to everyone in excitement.

Proud of his son. Dave responded in return with a glorious expression on his face. Danny fist-bumping him in return. Danny quickly informs Dr. Baxter and Nurse Jessica that they may need to hurry as he left his mother painfully waiting upstairs in her bedroom. Dr. Baxter nodded with determination and replied, Nurse Jessica, " Let’s go deliver a healthy baby girl! "
