Randle, a graduate of Specs Howard School of Media Arts, formally trained in Journalism Ethics, Umass of Amherst. Having earned a variety of awards and accolades for her artistic direction, writing, and hard work ethic. J.R. Randle was honored as the Most Creative out of her graduate class. For her consulting work on The 48-Hour Film Project Detroit, she accomplished a great level of achievement.
Randle has successfully merged her paths of education and experiences into a fascinating career in Communications and Media. With over twenty years of combined experience in Business and Health Administration, Broadcast Media Services, and Event Management.
In her role as a Supervisor & Media Liaison for Dialog-Direct, she proved to be an efficient, enthusiastic, and strong leader. Responsible for managing two Closed-Captions teams; served as a crucial connection between Kron4 News-San Francisco, Detroit, and Utah Executive offices.
During her time with WDIV-Local 4 News, Randle participated in numerous special projects and community events. Meeting people of various backgrounds excited her; it was the perfect opportunity to educate the public and offer a voice to the voiceless.
However, a significant role in J.R. Randle’s career is her emotional reenactment of a brutalized woman in Stop the Trafficking: A Matter of Life & Death. A special three-part series chronicling a Michigan woman's fight to survive a history of sexual assault and human trafficking.
